This photo goes along with the shot of me taking a photo of unnamed family members. This is my uncle - sitting next to my goddaughter. His kids all got together for a big family portrait and gave it to him for his birthday. It was a thrill for me to know everyone liked it so much. I'll post the portrait on my other blog.
The local Target. This is one of my favorite stores! They just recently added on and made the store huge. I don't really care for how it looks now...too big and modern looking.
My new toy! I've been needing a computer really bad for my business and finally broke down and ordered it. Now if I could just find the time to set it up in my office....
OK, I think I'm done going on about the chair haha. This is where I put it...the shelf is lined with portraits that I can change often. The one on the left is at an auction where I donated a gift certificate.
Barb called me this morning and said "Get your rollerblades and meet me in the park!" I tried to get out of it, but was so glad I went. I had been in a funk and overwhelmed with work and life and really needed to get out. We rollerbladed 3 miles and spent another hour chatting. I felt renewed when we were done. And, I have no idea why her leg is up in the air lol.
My little dancing girl....today Madison started jazz class. She was SO excited! I was proud of her for going in by herself and making some new friends.
My photos were in the paper! I was asked to do some freelance work for a costume contest last weekend and here they are. It's a little local paper, but still exciting to see my name...it's there if you look closely :)
My new chair! I finally broke down and bought the red chair I have been drooling over for about a year now. We went to the store looking for bunk beds and found this instead...the financing was too good to pass up. Now I just need to find someone with a truck to help me pick it up!
Today Madison's throat hurt "really bad" and she was making us all suffer! We ran to the gas station for something cold and this was pretty much the only choice.
Today was conference day with the teachers. Pictured is a report card and some folders with schoolwork. There was also a book fair and I bought this book for the kids. It's so awesome!
My cousin, Heather, was in town for the weekend from Michigan. She is moving to Cleveland for her job so we were apartment hunting early in the morning. This was taken after a long day of running around like crazy!
Today was the Halloween party at school. Here is Madison dressed at a China girl...that is what she called herself. She is wearing my sweater over it because she didn't want to get her costume dirty. We had to borrow one from a friend who brought the dress back from China so she was telling everyone the dress was "real." She was so proud!
