Where is the road? I was working so hard all day I didn't notice how much snow we were getting. This was on the way to pick up Clay from school...taken out my front window. The roads were terrible.

I knew we were getting an addition to our library, but didn't realize it was so far along already. I was driving on the square with my camera in hand when I noticed it. The old part of the library is to the right and the new section is the rounded building. This was taken through my car window!

This huge dog came to visit the studio today. I took a huge step back when he walked in! At 130 lbs. he is very gentle. Shelby is holding Zoe...smaller than the big dog's head!

Clay's trombone. He is in his third year of playing. All he wanted for Christmas in 4th grade was a trombone....that is what he got and the following year he started playing in school.

OK, technically I did not take this picture. Clay did from the bleachers. We were watching his band concert. I like this shot because I am usually one of the only mom's on the floor - I can see so much more this way! Madison is the second from the left and I am the 3rd from the left. Clay's friend is on the far left and her parents are next to me.

This photo goes along with the shot of me taking a photo of unnamed family members. This is my uncle - sitting next to my goddaughter. His kids all got together for a big family portrait and gave it to him for his birthday. It was a thrill for me to know everyone liked it so much. I'll post the portrait on my other blog.

I just had my hair cut and styled...she did such a great job. I put on a skirt and boots and went out for the night...it was so much fun!

Barb called me this morning and said "Get your rollerblades and meet me in the park!" I tried to get out of it, but was so glad I went. I had been in a funk and overwhelmed with work and life and really needed to get out. We rollerbladed 3 miles and spent another hour chatting. I felt renewed when we were done. And, I have no idea why her leg is up in the air lol.

My new chair! I finally broke down and bought the red chair I have been drooling over for about a year now. We went to the store looking for bunk beds and found this instead...the financing was too good to pass up. Now I just need to find someone with a truck to help me pick it up!

Today was the Halloween party at school. Here is Madison dressed at a China girl...that is what she called herself. She is wearing my sweater over it because she didn't want to get her costume dirty. We had to borrow one from a friend who brought the dress back from China so she was telling everyone the dress was "real." She was so proud!

Me, in action! Some unnamed family members asked me to photograph them today. It was so cold and windy, but my adrenaline warmed me up...a little. It was great seeing all of the family. Oh, and I guess I didn't take this photo today - Shelby did!
